In the effort to expand our sustainability efforts at Kingsborough, this year’s line of Commencement wear - named GreenWeaver® - is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets. For every Kingsborough graduate walking at Commencement, an average of 25 plastic bottles will have been used to manufacture the cap, hood, and gown.
